This work is a visual metaphor for my reality. You might say it reflects our lives now: a state of constantly negotiating between realities, different worlds and perspectives.

A continuation from I and II. I ask the viewer to embrace the uncertainty of not knowing, think about abstract art as a visual metaphor for what one might call reality. This work is an exploration of that uncomfortable feeling of instability and uncertainty. 

'Beneath the Sun'  was part of my recent joint exhibition  'Extended'. I have been experimenting with printmaking and cold wax for some time now, this work is a culmination of many printmaking processes. This work has a collage background on Arches Oil paper. Many layers of cold wax and dry pigments are layered, some scraped back to reveal the original collage work. My work is a reflection of  the ebb and flow of my life. Embrace the uncertainty of not knowing what the meaning is, think about this work as a visual metaphor for what one might call reality.
